A piece commenting on the Western world’s often selfish view of the global power balance. An African kid sewing clothes for the wealthy, while the white kid is putting nail polish on her toes. Recasting of plaster original 50s pieces and later manípulated.

Mzungu

A remake of the old, stereotypical and often racist Afroamerican statues from the 50s. From the exhibition «Mzungu» in 2014.Its a reshaped casting of a 1950s artifact, but with silicone lips,designer clothes, cup of Starbucks caffe latte and a «Chanel of babies» as ABFAB would have called the child. The piece is sold.
